HERO

Alone I stand in shadow

Under darkened skies of grey

Am I a menace or a hero

Depends on who would say

I'm fighting for the truth I've known

And for peace is all I pray

My fear is that the seeds I've sown

Will grow to fall astray

  

For I'm a hero

It seems that every turn 

another scar I earn

As the bullets fly by 

before the sun will rise

Everyday I'm tempting fate 

but the end must wait

It's justice I cry and 

then I'll say goodbye

I clash with evildoers 

While others turn away

Not a bystander or viewer

I'm here to make you pay

To spill my blood or break my bones

My temper starts to fray

Through ringing tones 

and muffled groans

My courage will not sway

For I'm a hero
